This international conference follows the tradition of the earlier LSC Conferences held since 1957 and most recently,
in Karlsruhe, Germany (2001), Katowice, Poland (2005) and Davos, Switzerland (2008). Thereby, it seeks to provide a forum for
worldwide experts in Liquid Scintillation Spectrometry for discussing the latest developments and applications as well as for
passing on experience to young scientists.
A wide area of topics is addressed ranging from theoretical aspects and development of LSC, to applications in various fields like
health studies, environment survey, nuclear energy, biology, geology and many other fields of science and technology.
